A lot of time and effort has been spent thinking about how we can enhance the abilities of humans by integrating technology into the human body – how to create cyborgs in the traditional sense. Why not go in the opposite direction? Just like machines are better than us at many tasks, allowing humans to do and sense what they could not otherwise, there are things that the human body can do that machines are not (yet?) capable of. With the following images I explored some (more or less serious) ways in which machines could be improved using human parts.
